Somebody That I Used to Know - Gotye featuring Kimbra
Kept hearing this song in the morning on VH1 and I always liked hearing it. But after sitting and watching the whole video and hearing the whole song and paying to the lyrics, I friggin’ love this song. Anyone who knows me knows that I will have a song on repeat forever. This song is definitely repeat worthy. The music video’s deep. The lyrics are totally relate-able. Both of their voices are crazy good. And the melodies, music, and harmonies are so mesmerizing. I might come off as a R&B/Hip Hop lover but I definitely have love for all genres. This is a perfect example of why.
But you didn’t have to cut me off, make out like it never happened, and that we were nothing. And I don’t really need your love, but you treat me like a stranger and that feel so rough. No you didn’t have to stoop so low, have your friends collect your records and then change your record. I guess that I don’t need that though. Now you’re just somebody that I used to know..
