not really a pet peeve because it’s only about one song but whatever
“You put it down like New York City, I never sleep. Wild like Los Angeles, my fantasy. Hotter than Miami, I feel the heat. Miss International Love.”
Why is this song called “International Love”? I’m pretty sure that New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami are all in America. How about “Intranational Love”? Who ever wrote these lyrics obviously doesn’t know the definition of international. How do you write the whole song about girls in other countries then get to main part of the song, the chorus, and write about cities in America? That’s the part everyone’s gonna be singing, you’d think they’d pay attention to a map or something.
